CDL-A Flatbed Driver Overview

Pay that adds up. Earn up to $112,000 per year depending on route,* with CPM pay of 50–75CPM based on experience, scheduled yearly raises, and a base rate that typically out-earns comparable reefer roles at the same experience level.*
Bonuses built in. Up to a 5CPM monthly performance bonus* plus a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 for experienced drivers.*
Accessorials that reward the extra work. Tarp pay, load securement pay, stop pay, detention pay, layover pay, and breakdown pay.
Home time you can count on. Home weekly or bi-weekly, based on location, with home weekends available.
Freight that keeps you moving. Shorter loading and unloading windows at many customer locations, far fewer long detention periods than grocery warehouse freight, and many drop and hook locations to keep dock time low. Most customers also run standard business hours, cutting down on overnight or middle-of-the-night appointments.
No reefer headaches, more time on your feet. No temperature monitoring, reefer fuel management, or temperature-related claims and alarm issues to manage, plus more physical activity throughout the day and less time sitting in the cab for long stretches.
